About Our Red Trucks

We came up with the idea for the red trucks after deciding to come up with a unique way to support the community that we’ve served for almost 90 years and we thought this would be a great way to bring awareness to two great organizations that are saving lives in the St. Louis region.

The trucks were custom painted with the intent of promoting and building awareness for the American Heart Association and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. As a company, we couldn’t be more excited about supporting these two great organizations and doing so in such a unique way.

On one side is the American Heart Association’s Go Red for women logo which we launched to help build awareness for their 11th National Wear Red Day that was held on February 7th.  We also hope this logo will act as a reminder to the community to put their heart health first because heart disease is the number 1 killer of women and is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined.

The St. Louis Children’s Hospital logo is on the opposite side of each truck’s drum to demonstrate Breckenridge’s on-going support of St. Louis Children’s Hospital and their advancements in pediatric heart surgery and research.  This world renowned hospital has had a significant impact on the children of some of our own employees and continues to be a leader in health care for children.

The trucks are part of our everyday fleet, delivering concrete to projects large and small, from driveways to highways, all across the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.
